Joe voted to provide funds for the North Star Project, YMCA, Helping Hands and Family Promise. Because "Sometimes people fall and need help, the Christian thing to do is help get them back on their feet."

Community Court is a great program that helps get people on a better path. Joe voted to keep utilizing this court system in Sedro-Woolley.
As Chair of the Business Development Committee, Joe brought to the council and passed an ordinance lowering mobile vendor fees from $1,000 to $75, the average rate in the county.
